Another Hero Homed — Another Life Changed

In May 2025, the Rescue a Hero Program proudly matched its 16th Hero: Veteran David Hart and his new partner, Sox. Together, they’re more than a team—they’re a testament to the power of purpose, trust, and second chances. Their journey is just beginning, and it’s already transforming both their lives.

Our 17th Hero is currently in training and will soon be united with her Veteran—another bond in the making, another mission in motion.

Special thanks to Vice Commander Bill McCarver, whose leadership continues to drive this incredible effort forward. Thanks to him—and to every supporter of this mission—Rescue a Hero has built more than teams. It's built hope.

Because of you, this program isn’t just working—it’s thriving.

Let’s keep going. More Heroes are waiting.
